Dr Dinsmore did his undergraduate training at Oral Roberts University before graduating from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences for medical school. He completed his General Surgery Residency training at Eisenhower Army Medical Center. After residency, he served as the Chief of General surgery at the 121 Army hospital, Seoul Korea, and as a teaching attending and residency research coordinator for the General Surgery Residency at EAMC, before subspecializing in Plastic Surgery. Dr Dinsmore completed his Plastics Training at the Medical College of Georgia. After 20 years of Army service, Dr Dinsmore joined the Plastic Surgery Residency faculty at the Medical College of Georgia, as the assistant Program Director. He currently is part time at Augusta University as a Professor of Plastic surgery, and has been the Chief of Plastic Surgery at the Charlie Norwood VAMC since 2009.
