Treatment and Care
Pioneering Cancer Treatments
Because we are an academic medical center involved in cutting-edge cancer research,
your care can include innovative new cancer treatments. We have been awarded prestigious
grants from the National Cancer Institute and the National Institutes of Health, including funding for the state’s only minority focused cancer research program.
This evidence based approach to care means that your treatment plan can include clinical trials and treatment options not available anywhere else.
Minimally Invasive Surgery
Our multidisciplinary team provides the latest treatment options, including minimally
invasive surgeries to treat a wide range of cancers with a less invasive approach.
We perform the most advanced procedures using the da Vinci surgical system at our Center for Advanced Robotic Surgery.
Radiation Oncology
The Radiation Therapy Center provides radiation oncology treatments to patients in a freestanding regional center.
Infusion Therapy and Chemotherapy
The Infusion Center offers IV treatments including chemotherapy and biotherapy. We also administer infusions
such as iron, fluids and blood products.
