VIP Portal is moving to Wellstar MyChart

Wellstar, affiliated with Medical College of Georgia, is transitioning from VIP Portal to Wellstar MyChart in November. With MyChart you’ll be able to request prescription refills, manage your appointments, access your test results and message your care team.

October 29 is the last day to message your care team and request prescription refills in the VIP Portal. To access the new patient portal, sign up for a Wellstar MyChart account today! All VIP Portal functions will move to MyChart November 2.

Be proactive with your care—create a Wellstar MyChart account.

1. Go to wellstar.org.
2. Click on Sign Up (I don’t have a code).
3. Follow the instructions to create your account.
4. You can begin using your new MyChart account November 2.

Manage Your Health Records

Your health records in VIP Portal will not transfer to MyChart. Download a copy of your records from the VIP Portal by following the steps below. You will have access to download your records until April 1, 2025.

1. Log in to your VIP Portal account.
2. Select Open My Record > Care Summaries.
3. Here you will find your after-visit summaries, lab test results and other records.
4. Select Download next to each document to save a copy to your electronic device.
5. If you would like to print a copy for your personal records, select Print.
