About

Augusta University Medical Center (AUMC) has been treating trauma patients for over 30 years. We are the region’s only Level I Adult and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center verified by the American College of Surgeons (ACS). We specialized in critically ill and injured patients with life-threatening injuries, our adult trauma team treats patients aged 13 and older, while our pediatric team treats patients aged 12 and younger.
