Our Services
We understand that rehabilitation for children is not the same as rehabilitation for adults. Children are still growing; going through vital stages of mental and physical development,
so it's important to be seen by therapists who are educated and trained to work with
younger patients.
- Pediatric Physical Therapy (PT): Focuses on rehabilitation to improve balance, fitness, motor skills, and strength
in children with disabilities, disorders or injuries. We can also help children achieve
milestones if there are developmental delays.
- Pediatric Occupational Therapy (OT): Helps children to regain, develop, and maintain skills they need in order to live
a more functionally independent lifestyle.
- Pediatric Speech-language Pathology (SLP): We see children who have trouble with oral communication, language development,
or swallowing issues.
We do more for our pediatric patients
For some children, rehabilitation services also include evaluations, fitting, or training
on personal assistive devices that will increase their ability to be more independent
and mobile. We work with children needing:
- Orthotics and/or prosthetics
- Splinting and serial casting
- Wheelchair evaluations
