Dr. Amy House completed her PhD in clinical psychology at the University of Georgia in 1996. She completed internship and postdoctoral fellowship training at Augusta University and has been on the faculty since that time. Dr. House's clinical and teaching interests focus on women’s mental health and the treatment of emotion dysregulation, PTSD, and suicidality, including individuals diagnosed with borderline personality disorder. In addition, her research interests include in the processes of change in psychotherapy. Dr. House is the director of the Augusta DBT program. She is also an ACT therapist and directs the CBT training for psychology interns and psychiatry residents.
