About Jonathan Eidman, DPT

Jonathan earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Augusta University in 2017. While studying for his Doctorate, Jonathan completed extra training and instruction in Traditional Chinese Medicine and was one of the first to be awarded a Traditional Chinese Medicine Certificate from the Confucius Institute. He completed additional study at the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China in 2017. Jonathan has additional certifications in LSVT, an evidence based treatment protocol for Parkinson’s Disease and other neurological movement disorders, and Vestibular Rehabilitation. Jonathan has experience with a wide array of orthopedic and neurological conditions and works with all ages from adolescence to older adults. He is currently focused on completing a certificate in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy, otherwise known as the Mckenzie method. In his spare time, Jonathan enjoys cooking and hiking with his wife, Natalia, who is a Physical Therapist from Peumo, Chile. He is working on his Spanish language proficiency, and enjoys reading classic American fiction.

Jonathan believes many diagnoses and conditions are confusing for patients, so a focus on listening and promoting understanding is key to helping the patient achieve their highest possible level of function. Jonathan focuses on individualized treatment that promotes self-care at every stage of management and lifelong strategies to help patients meet their goals.
