Kate Burgner, MS, RN, APRN, FNP-C

Kate Burgner, FNP-C is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She graduate Cum Laude from the University of South Carolina, Upstate Campus with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2009. Kate then received her Masters of Science, Nursing from Clemson University in 2017. She began her nursing career as in inpatient nurse on an adult medical surgical unit at the Medical Center of Central Georgia, Macon GA. In 2010, she transitioned to pediatrics as an inpatient pediatric hematology oncology nurse at Greenville Health System Children’s Hospital in Greenville, South Carolina. Since 2017 she began working as a Nurse Practitioner in Pediatric Pulmonology at the Children’s Hospital of Georgia. Kate takes care of patient including but not limited to asthma, BPD, habit cough, sleep disorders, and children needing ventilator care. Kate was born and raised in Pickens, South Carolina and currently lives in Aiken, SC. She enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter and any type of outdoor activity. She believes in building trusting relationships with patients and parents to provide the best quality, holistic care specific for each individual.
