About Sandeep A Padala, MD

Hello, I am Sandeep Anand Padala. I am originally from Hyderabad, India where I finished my medical school from Osmania medical college. I moved to the USA to pursue my residency training in Michigan. After residency, I briefly worked as a hospitalist at Wyoming Medical Center where I realized my passion for nephrology and moved to Augusta to do my fellowship. I love everything about Augusta University, the people, the work environment and the clinical exposure so I decided to stay back as faculty. Apart from my clinical duties, I thoroughly enjoy teaching residents and medical students. I also enjoy being part of research activities and actively involved in multiple research projects. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
