About Tuba Kalelioglu, MD

Dr. Tuba Kalelioglu is a dedicated medical professional specializing in neuroradiology. Dr. Kalelioglu's journey in the field of radiology began with her medical education at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine, where she earned her M.D. in June 2007. She completed her radiology residency training at Haseki Training and Research Hospital Department of Radiology in Istanbul, Turkey from February 2009 to November 2015. Dr. Kalelioglu undertook an ACGME-accredited Neuroradiology Fellowship at the University of Virginia from December 2019 to December 2020, followed by a two-year Advanced Neuroradiology Fellowship and an ACGME-accredited Nuclear Radiology Fellowship, both at the University of Virginia, from December 2020 to December 2023. During her career, she has actively contributed to research, notably as a Research Fellow at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Radiology Department in 2018. Dr. Kalelioglu has publications and book chapters in the field of adult-type as well as pediatric type brain tumor imaging in the light of molecular classification. Dr. Kalelioglu is an active participant in educational exhibits, presenting at various annual meetings. She has received recognition for her work, including a Certificate of Merit Award for an exhibit on Inflammatory Arthritis of the Spine at the ASNR23 Annual Meeting.
