Dr. Jordan currently serves as Chair of Surgery and Surgeon in Chief at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University, in Augusta, Georgia. While leading a diverse group of surgeons, he oversees surgical care across a vast health system with a focus on medical education, and a collaborative approach for quality and new technology. He previously served as the John E. Skandalakis Chair in Surgery at Emory and a director of the Vascular Surgery Board of the American Board of Surgery. His professional society participation includes American Surgical Association (ASA) membership, President of the Association of Program Directors in Vascular Surgery (APDVS), President of the Society for Clinical Vascular Surgery (SCVS), and Secretary-Treasurer and President of Southern Association for Vascular Surgery (SAVS).
