Safe Badging for Guests
To provide a safe environment, greeters and security officers at the entrance desk ask families/guests to provide the name of the patient they are here to see and provide an ID in order to receive a badge. In CHOG, badging is required 24/7. For those going to an adult patient's room, badging is required as the hospital is secured for the evening during the hours between 8:30 pm to 5 am. This helps us provide a safe, secure and respectful environment for patients, families, guests, and staff.
