If you are interested in finding our more about your child's condition and surgical options, see our informative brochures:

What is Craniosynostosis

A condition in which a baby's skull sutures close too early. This can not only restrict brain growth and development, but it may raise some cosmetic concerns as well.

Once a diagnosis of craniosynostosis has been established, treatment options will be discussed with you by your craniofacial specialist team.

What is Hydrocephalus

Hydrocephalus develops when there is either a disruption of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) flow or a problem with CSF absorption.

Once a diagnosis of hydrocephalus has been established, treatment options will be discussed with you by your pediatric neurosurgery team.

What is Chiari malformation

This is a condition in which the back of the brain (hindbrain) pokes through the base of the skull and into the spinal canal (where the spinal cord is located).

Once a diagnosis of chiari malformation has been established, treatment options will be discussed with you by your pediatric neurosurgery team.
