About David Williams, MD

Dr. David Williams is assistant professor of Psychiatry and Health Behavior. He obtained his medical degree from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine-Columbia and a BA in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Princeton University. He completed his internship and General Adult Psychiatry residency training at Augusta University and joined the faculty in 2014. His areas of clinical involvement include adult inpatient service, resident outpatient clinic, and correctional mental health. He is a problem-based learning facilitator for first and second year medical students and is involved in clinical education for students and residents.
