About Edward F. Szabo, DPM

Edward Szabo, DPM, attended the Medical College of Ohio and graduated from the University of Toledo and Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. He served as the Chief Podiatric Resident at University Hospital's Health System of Cleveland-Richmond Heights Hospital.

He worked in private practice in Perrysburg and Maume, Ohio. Dr. Szabo's experience includes all aspects of Podiatry. He is board certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. His primary area of expertise lies in forefoot and rearfoot reconstruction, including repairing bunion and hammertoe deformities and lesser metatarsal and rearfoot deformities. Additionally, Dr. Szabo is experienced in soft tissue problems like Achilles tendon injuries and plantar fasciitis.

Honors/ Awards/Achievements:

2008-2010: Podiatric Representative to Quality Review Board - Surgicare Surgery Center Nominated by peers in the Department of Orthopaedics and elected to serve two years on Quality Review Committee.
