Excellent surgeon. Will never let another surgeon operate on me. This will be the xxx surgery he will be doing and I have all the confidence that it will be as great as the first.

I was honestly nervous about seeing this provider again after not having the best experience with communication last time. But, this time it was significantly better and I felt more comfortable communicating with him and that things were explained and heard.

I know that this provider is very good at what he does based on other people's recommendations and researching him - but I felt like my appointment was very rushed to get in and out. I definitely appreciated not having to wait and being seen quickly. I had an xxx sprain - which I assume he has seen a bazillion of, and while his assessment and plan were adequate - I felt rushed / not really able to ask any questions. When I did ask questions, I felt like they were shrugged off as no big deal, but they were important to me to get clear answers (e.g., When can I workout again? Any restrictions? At what point do I need to be concerned if not improved/back to normal?). The answers to those seemed rushed and a bit dismissive, to be honest. My second appointment - there was no exam, until requested as he was exiting the room about one specific area on my xxx. I didn't feel like he adequately assessed or answered the question I had, but I felt dismissed so I didn't persist in attempting to further explain what I was feeling. If no exams are planned to be performed, it would be nice to save us all the time by utilizing technology.

The doctor was a good doctor I'm just lost on the action plan of my care other than try to stay off it since the ankle is broke but didn't give me any kind of medical supplies or treatment for my broken ankle. Come back in 4 weeks to check the status

I have never experienced anything like I did. I was hurt and very concerned about my situation. Dr Szabo, his residence assistant and his nurse were so kind to me. The nurse kept me well informed about what was going on and how my visit was go. She was the BEST! Dr. Szabo took his time and explained what to expect and made sure I completely understood my condition.
