About Kathleen May,
Dr. Kathleen May is board certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. She joins Augusta University Health with more than 20 years of experience in allergy and immunology. She served most recently as a community-based clinician at Allegany Allergy and Asthma in Cumberland, Maryland. After earning her medical degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University in Rootstown, Ohio, she completed her residency at East Carolina University School of Medicine in Greenville, North Carolina. Then, she completed a fellowship in allergy and immunology at the National Jewish Research Center at the University of Colorado in Denver, Colorado. Dr. May is nationally recognized in her specialty as the prior recipient of the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology's Distinguished Fellow, Distinguished Service, and Woman in Allergy Awards. She currently serves as vice chair of the American Board of Allergy and Immunology, an American Board of Medical Specialties member board.

MD is very overworked and in a rush. She is a good doctor and very knowledgeable about her field, but spends very little time in room with you. She always seems to be heading for the door after 3-4 minutes in the room. Her medical residents ( xxx) have been great. They take their time and listen and return calls promptly.
