Dr. Gabrielle Helfgott, DNP, CNM, NCMP, APRN is a Certified Nurse Midwife at Augusta University. An alumna of the University of Miami, she graduated with a BSN and an MSN in Maternal Child Health Nursing. She completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2018 at Augusta University and is licensed as an Advanced Practice RN. Educated in Nursing and Midwifery, she provides well-women care, prenatal care as well as intrapartum care in a collaborative practice setting. Research focus and clinical interests include: social determinants of health, health equity, teenage pregnancy and menopausal health.

Midwife Gaby is absolutely wonderful and my husband and I both really like her. She takes time to answer all our questions and makes us feel so at ease/never rushed. We can tell she really cares for us and our family. We really wish she could be there for the delivery or our baby or that there was a separate midwife wing we could go to. There really needs to me a midwife birthing section available at this hospital since the nearest one for anyone in the surrounding area is hours away
