Our Approach

We offer the expertise of a board-certified general surgeon along with the comfort and convenience of a locally based practice where we truly get to know our patients. Our surgical suites are equipped with state-of-the-art technology and our experienced staff are here to guide you from evaluation through post-operative care.

We strive to provide comprehensive and efficient care to our patients and value innovation to ensure our patients and families achieve the best health outcomes possible.

Did You Know?

We deliver the high quality care of an academic medical practice, with the convenience of multiple outpatient practices. These practices are conveniently located across the region. For many procedures such as colonoscopies, you can expect to check in, have your treatment, and be home and resting comfortably in just a few hours.

Academic Advantage

We have the largest team of fellowship-trained surgeons in the region offering you the latest techniques and advancements available. We offer this level of expertise for routine procedures and the most complex conditions, including heart repair, cancer surgeries, difficult hernias and more.

Through discovery of improved surgical techniques, Augusta University Health surgeons offer many minimally invasive procedures for less pain and faster recovery across many of our specialties. We offer a wide-array of advanced techniques across a range of specialties ensuring we provide you and your family the best care possible whether you need a routine colonoscopy or a more complex surgery like a transplant. In addition to our academic medical center located in downtown Augusta, we also offer more convenient locations throughout our community.

We want to ensure your first visit is smooth and worry-free. Please review the following tips:

  • Bring a photo ID
  • Bring your insurance, Medicare or Medicaid cards
